Helmets must comply with Australian Standard ASNZS3838/03 Helmets for Horse Riding and Horse-related Activities; Must wear boots with appropriate heels fitted for riding; Must only compete in events specific to their age on the day; Can only complete on a maximum of 1 horse per rider for LED events (competitors <7 years old) and for all other age groups, limitof 2 horses per rider. Must not carry or use a whip at any time when riding; Must not compete if under the influence of drugs or alcohol (random testing may be performed at the discretion of the Yunta Race Club Committee); Must not behave in a manner which is dangerous to themselves, their horse, or any other rider, horse or person at the event. Misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated; May only compete on a horse that is deemed safe, sound and fit to compete. Any horse deemed dangerous or unfit to compete will be disqualified; Must comply with all directions and decisions of Yunta Race Club Officials and Committee members. All decisions are final. Any protests must be lodged with the Yunta Race Club President; Will be immediately disqualified for any breach of these rules. You will be called up by Track Officials at the commencement of each event. You may choose to compete at the time of each event. Event classes will be determined on the day based on the number, age and bike category of competitors. A nomination form must be competed for each competitor. PreviousNextMOTOKHANA EVENT RULES All competitors: Participate at their own risk; Must wear helmets at all times when riding. Helmets must comply with Australian Standard AS/NZS 1698:2006 Protective Helmets for Vehicle Users; Must wear protective clothing (full-length pants and full-length sleeves) and closed footwear when riding; Must only compete in events specific to their age on the day; Must not start their motorbike until advised by Yunta Race Club Officials or Committee Members to do so; Must only ride their motorbike in the designated competition area and only during motorbike competition times. Any rider found riding outside of the designated competition area or outside of approved competition times will be immediately disqualified; Must not compete if under the influence of drugs or alcohol (random testing may be performed at the discretion of the Yunta Race Club Committee); Must not behave in a manner which is careless or dangerous to themselves, or any other rider or person at the event. Misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated; May only compete on a motorbike that is deemed safe and fit to ride. Any rider on a motorbike deemed dangerous or unfit to ride will be disqualified; Must comply with all directions and decisions of Yunta Race Club Officials and Committee Members. QUARTER MILE DRAG RULES The following additional conditions apply for competitors in the Quarter Mile Drag: All competitors MUST be 16 years or older to compete; and Competitors must not cut off or cross over in front of another competitor. 16+ YEARS (OPEN) EVENT RULES The following additional conditions apply for competitors in the 16 + years (Open) events: Any female competitor may choose to enter either a specific Women’s event (for example the Women’s Drag Race) or the equivalent open event (Open Drag Race) but cannot ride in both. MONO COMP RULES The following additional conditions apply for competitors in the Mono Comp: All competitors MUST be 16 years or older to compete; and Competitors must be capable of safely performing a mono to compete. The Yunta Race Club Committee reserves the right to change the program or cancel any event at its discretion. Any breach of these rules will result in immediate disqualification.
